Plan on the property before you build

See what fits.
Find the right spot.

Start with a survey or plat. Add a home at the right scale and move it around to see how it works with the site. Save the layouts you like and share them.

Home Placement is our first tool. More site planning tools will follow.

Home Placement

Try a layout before you commit to a design.

01

Start with the site

Upload your survey or plat. Set the scale using a measurement you know is correct.

02

Place it at the right size

Drop in a home plan. Move it, turn it, or flip it while its size stays true to the property.

03

Compare layouts

Save more than one layout so you can see which works best. Turn site markings on when you need them.

04

Share the idea

Send someone a view-only link or download a file. They will see the same layout you saved.

More than home placement

The same simple idea can help plan much more than a house.

We are starting with homes. Later, the same kind of map could help lay out a farm, a yard, or another use for the land.

First up

Home Placement

See how a house fits on the lot. Check where the setbacks and easements are. Keep the view in mind as you work.

Planned

Farm Layout

Sketch out fields and buildings, along with the roads and water systems that connect them.

Planned

Landscape Planning

Try ideas for planting beds and paths. Add a pool or an outdoor living area.

Share plans clearly

Show people exactly what you have in mind.

Save a layout and send a view-only link. The people helping with the project will see the same plan in the same spot. Plan providers can also add their home libraries to the studio.

What this tool does

This tool helps with planning. It does not approve a project.

Site Planning Studio helps you try ideas and talk them through. It does not replace work done by a surveyor or architect. You will still need an engineer and the proper permitting authorities when the project calls for them. The app will show where its source material came from and how the property plan was scaled.
